Garena announces Free Fire Crossover with Attack on Titan

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Garena announced a global partnership with Kodansha to bring Attack on Titan content to Free Fire. This partnership brings together one of the most famous modern Japanese anime series and one of the most popular mobile games in the world. The plan is for survivors to enjoy Free Fire’s crossover content with Attack on Titan in March 2021.

“’Free Fire’ players can instantly #Battleinstyle in the style of one of the popular Japanese fantasy anime – ‘Attack on Titan’. The series has captured the imaginations of people around the world with its unique and haunting narrative; We are very excited to bring this to the world of ‘Free Fire’, “said Harold Teo, producer of Free Fire at Garena, in his statement on Thursday (April 2nd, 2021).

Loyal fans of the “Attack on Titan” franchise can find costumes with the theme colors of the Survey Corps division in the game “Free Fire”. The Titan character, the dreaded man-eating monster, is also presented in a special costume. As if that weren’t enough, all survivors will also be presented with various exclusive in-game items such as weapon skins on the topic of this special collaboration.

This collaboration is expected to accompany Attack on Titan fans around the world including Indonesia as they watch the final season of the tragic, exciting and very tense anime. Garena’s collaboration with “Attack on Titan” itself is presented as a concrete form of Garena’s strategy to further improve the gaming experience of “Free Fire” through collaboration with leading names in the world.

Garena had previously worked together and brought the popular Netflix series “Money Heist” and world football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo as Chrono in Free Fire. Late last year, Garena also collaborated with another Japanese anime series, One-Punch Man.

Meanwhile, the Free Fire OB26 update is ready to be released today, February 4th. Server maintenance is in progress and survivors will be temporarily inaccessible to the game until the game update is complete.
