Free fire officially blocked? This is Kominfo’s answer to the Mukomuko Regent’s report

In response, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology said it would examine the application letter from the Mukomuko regent immediately.

Ministry of Communications and Informatics spokesman Dedy Permadi said his party will always respond to complaints it receives. This application to block online games is no exception due to existing regulations.

In principle, Kominfo will of course process and take into account any complaints or all blocking requests received in accordance with the applicable regulations.“Said Dedy Permadi.

Free fire is blocked?

Kominfo has received a letter from the regent of the Mukomuko reign in Sapuan. The letter contains requests to block online games at national or regional level.

Sweep, the sender of the letter, argued that online gaming is now having more negative than positive effects on teenagers around them.

However, Dedy said Kominfo cannot simply block online games on a national level. You must also comply with applicable laws and regulations.

He explained that Kominfo has the right to block online games if they show or contain things that violate applicable law.
