Concerned about mental health problems in children, these politicians forced the government to shut down Free Fire and PUBG Mobile

GAMEFINITY.ID, Singkawang – Free Fire and PUBG Mobile games appear to be in danger of being shut down by the government. The reason for this began to highlight this politician and force the government to close the two games.

The politician named MP Asha Kumari BK comes from the Nepalese party CPN-UML. On the occasion of his speech at “Zero Hour” in the Nepal Representative Council, he sharply criticized the spread of Free Fire and PUBG Mobile games in Nepal.

Kumari admits he is concerned about the mental health of players’ children at both games in Nepal.

He specifically suggests closing or blocking the two major mobile battle royale games because of the negative impact of the game. Also, there are many case reports of health problems that appear to children such as increased anxiety, agitation, and decreased focus.

“Online games like PUBG Mobile and Free Fire are detrimental to children’s mental health. I would like to draw the government’s attention to this matter. Otherwise, there may be a day when guardians and parents are knocking on the court doors seeking justice.Said Kumari.

This online game blocking request is not the first time this has happened in Nepal. In 2021, Nepal banned PUBG Mobile from playing for a while.

But at that time Tencent managed to negotiate with the local government to overturn the Nepalese court’s decision.

Now that incident has happened again when a politician immediately referred the matter to the Nepalese House of Representatives to request the closure of the Free Fire and PUBG Mobile games.
