Apex Legends Season 7 Ascencion, presents Horizon characters and Olympus map

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Respawn has revealed the first official details of Season 7 of Apex Legends, titled Ascension. Starting November 4th, Ascension will introduce a new character, Horizon, and the game’s third main map, Olympus. Horizon is an astrophysicist who discovered how gravity works, while Olympus is a fertile city that floats in the clouds and which is also the home of Octane and Lifeline.

In the Ascencion season, players will also be introduced to the Trident, the aircraft that became the vehicle of legends before it fought on Mount Olympus. There’s also a new social feature called Club that players can use to build a community.

As for the ranking, Respawn has decided to temporarily remove the King’s Canyon map from map rotation. They promised to bring the first iconic card back to the rank some time later. Apart from the map change, there are no major changes, as Respawn admits that he is currently only focusing on the crossplay of Apex Legends in the ranking system.

Respawn via EA’s official website announced last week that Season 7 would launch along with the Steam version of Apex Legends, but the Switch version of the game has been postponed to 2021.

“For those who play on the Nintendo Switch, we’re still working hard on porting it. To live up to that and have the great experience Switch players deserve, it took our team more time. This year has brought new, unexpected challenges and we don’t want to rush anything. Switch owners can look forward to getting their hands on Apex Legends next year. Of course, when Apex Legends launches on Switch, the game will feature cross-platform play, the latest seasonal content, and full similarities to other versions of the game platform. “
