Yeay, Mobile Legends is officially participating in the SEA Games 2021
Hitekno.com – Good news for esports enthusiasts, especially Mobile Legends. Because this multiplayer online battle arena or MOBA game will be one of the sports that will later be played at the biennial SEA GAMES 2021 event in the Philippines.
Reporting from ChannelNewsAsia, Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang is one of the games that will later be confirmed at the SEA Games 2109 event.
This is a good move for the eSports world after the sport was just a demonstration at the 2021 Asian Games.
As Alan Peter Cayetano, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Philippines Southeast Asian Games (PhilSGOC) said, the eSprorts branch that will be contested will not only be Mobile Legends, but no other sports have been determined as of yet.
It was previously reported that the 2021 SEA Games will compete with six eSports games consisting of a PC, mobile phone and console.
Each type of game that is entered includes two sports, so there are six esports medals to be won at the 2021 SEA Games.
According to PhilSGOC, the games selected must meet the values of the International Olympic Committee. One of the basic rules is that gaming should not promote a culture of violence and gambling.
Esport lovers are currently looking forward to the games that will later be played at the largest sports event in Southeast Asia. Quite a few expect the game Dota 2 and League of Legends to be one of the games that will also be contested.
To announce which sports other than Mobile Legends will be played, the SEA Games 2021 will officially publish their official declaration on December 15, 2021.
