Hitekno.com – The official miHoYo announced that there will be a new update for Genshin Impact, “White Lime and Black Dragon”, which will be released on December 23rd. This v1.2 update introduces new areas and new characters.
The game’s developer has announced new details on its first new map expansion, Dragonspine. Players can embark on a new adventure in the cool world of Dragonspine, which is full of new creatures, secrets, treasures and dangers.
Genshin Impact is a free, open-world action RPG that takes players into the visually stunning world of Teyvat. Players take on the role of a mysterious traveler, embark on a journey to find his missing brother and uncover Teyvat’s secrets on his journey.
Players can explore Moon City and Liyue Harbor, two of Teyvat’s seven capitals. Each city has a unique culture and history, a vast landscape full of creatures, monsters, secrets and treasures. More cities, stories, characters and seasonal events will be published.
Update v1.2 brings the first new map expansion called Dragonspine, a frozen mountain south of Moon City and home to many unique creatures, lost ancient civilizations, abundant materials, rare artifacts and recipes for multiple * 4 weapons.
Meanwhile, the snow-capped dragon’s back and bad weather year-round challenge every traveler to endure the freezing cold. With the addition of “Sheer Cold”, maintaining a warm body temperature is the most important thing all players need to keep an eye on when fighting or exploring.
The new seasonal event “White Chalk and Black Dragon” is also taking place at Dragonspine. Traveler players will team up with Albedo, the genius Chief Alchemist and Investigation Captain of the Knights of Favonius Lunar City, to investigate a sword with a mysterious power called Festering Desire.
By participating in this seasonal event, players can not only receive the maximum refinement of Festering Desire, but also exchange many prizes from the event shop including the Crown of Insight.
Two new * 5 characters Albedo and Ganyu are also added as playable characters. Albedo is a young and ingenious legendary alchemist from Moon City, who will be featured in the upcoming quest series “White Chalk and Black Dragon”.
He armed himself with a sword and the power of the geo-element. Ganyu is a half-human and half-skilled cryo-elemental archer who plays Liyue Qixing’s envoy and secretary.
