This is the cheat used by Vietnamese players in Tourney ML
In December 2021, the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Indonesia game community was shocked by the behavior of players from Vietnam. It was hilarious because Vietnamese gamers were suspected of using cheats in the latest Mobile Legends to play, such as accelerated cooldowns.
This fraud case also reached Moonton as the developer of Mobile Legends. This is proof that Vietnamese players actually used cheats at the Mobile Legends Arena Contest tournament.
Skill cooldown cheats
The case took place during a game between the Vietnam Mobile Legends team and the Indonesian Mobile Legends team in the Mobile Legends Arena competitive mode. In this game the Vietnamese team was able to win landslide with a result of 3-0 against the Indonesian team. The win felt strange and eventually it was suspected that a cheat was used in the match.
Moonton is said to have been reached in connection with this incident. Based on detikINET, Moonton is investigating this problem and only knew about the problem when the mobile gaming system was cracked.
Regarding cheats in Mobile Legends, Vietnamese gamers are said to have committed two scams. The first cheat relates to cheating on the MMR or matchmaking rating. Vietnamese gamblers allegedly illegally increase their MMR MMR itself is a system in Mobile Legends that is used to determine the rank of Mobile Legends players based on heroes.
Legal MMR points are earned by playing in ranked mode. If you win in this mode you will increase your MMR points and losses will decrease your MMR. The amount of points increase or decrease has its own calculation that has been automated by Moonton.
Vietnamese gamblers alleged to have illegally increased MMR. The reason is that they only play in ranked mode for a very short time. It was believed that they were playing an arranged game. The way to increase this illegal MMR is to come to an agreement with Mobile Legends players who already know it and then give up in the game.
The second scam can be seen from several videos posted on the YouTube channel. A scam was found in the video in the form of the Vietnam team’s cooldown skill, which tends to end faster than it should. This scam might just be one of them as using a third party application is certainly capable of other scams, not just on cooldown skills.
Moonton is still investigating this second fraud. If it is true that Vietnamese gamblers have been scammed, as many have accused, Moonton will not hesitate to issue a permanent sanction for the account suspension.
Cheats increase the damage
Regarding the Mobile Legends cheat for Vietnamese players, Fio Nur Ramadhan’s YouTube channel uploaded a video exposing cheats to win the game. To run the cheat, Mobile Legends players will need to use a third party application called Game Guardian.
Unlike Vietnamese gamers who supposedly use cheats for a faster cooldown, it is claimed that by using Game Guardian, Mobile Legends players will be able to change hero attributes.
The change in question is to increase the damage and also the hero’s movement speed. With this cheat Eudora can quickly destroy the tower as a hero in the video.
This cheat must not be used anymore, because an error message appears at the end of the video and the connection is lost and the match results have been saved. The appearance of this notification shows that the developer has repaired the system so that the cheat can no longer be used.
