Rocket League will be a free game, this time debuting

Hitekno.com – Rocket League will be confirmed as a free-to-play game in late summer 2021. That means players will be able to play it for free sometime in the third or early fourth quarter of 2021.
Psyonix announced that the free-to-play update would be the “biggest yet”.
They made big changes to the tournament and challenge systems.
This announcement coincides with news that Rocket League is also being released for the first time on the Epic Games Store.
The Epic Games Store version will be like any other platform with cross-platform functionality.
Cross-platform progress is added to Inventory, Rocket Pass, and Player Rank by linking it to an Epic Games account.
New players will no longer be able to download copies of the game on Steam when Rocket League becomes a free game.
Anyone who already has a copy of Rocket League on any platform (including Steam) will receive support for future updates and features.
As an added bonus for anyone playing Rocket League online, players are granted Legacy status.
This will give you all of the Rocket League DLC packs released prior to the free update, as well as additional Faded Cosmos Boost items.
The title “Est.20XX” is added as a tribute to players who play Rocket League.
“Est.20XX” reflects the first year of the player starting Rocket League.
Quoted from Radar games, in conjunction with the fifth anniversary of Rocket League, Psyonix promises a major update for the game.
Rocket League is an action game with its unique gameplay as a battle car.
Players need to develop a strategy as the game combines soccer games with turbo-powered cars.
Rocket League already has tens of millions of fans despite being paid, so this free announcement can attract more potential players.
