Garena Free Fire World Championship 2021 with a total prize of IDR 28 billion!
Garena announced the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2021 Singapore as the next global tournament on the battle royale gaming scene with a prize pool of $ 2 million or more than 28 billion rupees, or the largest in the history of the Free Fire scene.
The World Series is Free Fire’s largest and most popular esports tournament. Call it the opening tournament like the Free Fire World Series 2021, which was watched by more than two million people at the same time and which later became the world record for the first mobile eSports tournament according to the Esports Charts.
FFWS 2021 will take place in Singapore in May 2021, marking the start of the return of the Free Fire international esports tournament, having previously played online.
FFWS 2021 will have play-ins on May 22nd and the final on May 29th. This event was previously announced for April 24th (play-ins) and May 1st (final), but has been postponed due to the global pandemic situation.
The play-ins round brings together the 12 teams that finished first or second in their respective regional tournaments. The two best teams will then join the 10 best teams in the world that are already waiting for the final.
All teams will compete against each other over six rounds on three maps to be left last, with points based on rank and number of kills in each round.
FFWS 2021 is a testament to Garena’s continued commitment to deliver attractive and competitive esports content to the global community. Everything is done while the safety of everyone involved is still paramount.

Garena ensures that all activities are in accordance with public health protocols and applicable travel guidelines.
To achieve this goal, Garena is organizing FFWS 2021 with the support of the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and in close collaboration with various industry experts and organizations such as the Singapore Cybersports and Online Gaming Association (SCOGA).
“We know that the World Series is eagerly awaited by players and fans, so we’re working closely with the relevant authorities to ensure we can continue to present the best Free Fire tournament. Safety has been and will be our number one priority in organizing this event, ”said Justin Lye, Garena Global Esports Manager.
