Free Fire prints a record 100 million daily players in 2021!
Garena Free Fire increased 20 million players in just 3 months and hit a record 100 million daily active players!
Garena Free Fire is one of the most popular battle royale games in Indonesia (and worldwide). Even if you look at the development over the past few years, the popularity of Free Fire has surpassed PUBGM and Fortnite.
Based on reports from SEA Limited, Free Fire has successfully reached 100 million daily active players. This number itself can be called very impressive, but it’s even more amazing when you look at its evolution.
In a December 2021 report, Garena Free Fire hit a record 60 million daily active players. Then, most recently in May 2021, Free Fire had a record 80 million daily users.

Within the next 3 months, this Battle Royale game managed to increase the number of daily players by 20 million and hit a new record, namely 100 million daily active users.
In addition to this, Garena Free Fire also earned the title as one of the Highest earning mobile game in Southeast Asia and Latin America.
It doesn’t stop there. This Battle Royale Android game hit a new record in July 2021 for the number of users who pay monthly, double what it was last year.
The evolution of Garena Free Fire in the world of esports
In esports, Garena Free Fire reached 120 million online viewers from April to June 2021.
The Free Fire tournament is also one of the biggest eSports matches with the most viewers. This is shown by the Free Fire Asia All-Stars 2021 online tournament, which took place in June and reached 20 million viewers in just 2 days.
Not so long ago Garena officially announced the Free Fire Continental Series 2021 (FFCS) to replace the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) tournament that was due to be held in Jakarta. FFCS 2021 starts on November 21 in online format.
Garena Free Fire is also hosting one of its biggest events in collaboration with the Netflix film series Money Heist.
