Develop the esports industry, Logitech G teams up with League of Legends Champions

Hitekno.com – Computer and software maker Logitech G announced that it will partner with T1 Entertainment & Sports (T1), an esports team that has become world champions in the League of Legends game.


“Logitech G is proud to partner with T1. These athletes not only have a strong tradition in their home country, but also show excellence on a global level, “said Brent Barry, Head of Logitech G eSports Division, in an official statement on Sunday (02.09.2020).


Through this collaboration, Logitech G will work closely with world-class T1 athletes to further develop the esports industry. In addition, Logitech G will also partner with T1 to develop innovative technologies for the next generation esports market.


Meanwhile, for the sake of reciprocity, T1 is required to promote Logitech G as the official supplier of the gaming technology devices they use.


“We are excited to build a relationship focused on improving their expertise and talents in various game genres to advance the quality of world-class esports teams and industry-leading gaming technology for all gamers around the world. We hope that T1 will be a great ambassador not just in Asia but around the world, ”said Barry.


This deal comes after T1 just announced a partnership with the world’s leading sportswear brand, Nike. The Logitech G logo itself will be printed on T1 team uniforms as well as in the team’s training facilities.

T1 was founded in 2004 and is one of many fast growing esports organizations. As of 2012, the T1 team for the League of Legends (LoL) game is one of the most successful teams in e-sports history and won three world championships (2013, 2015, 2021) and five other championship titles, including 2021 and the 2021 LoL Mid Season Invitationals.


Most recently, the team won its eighth title for the League of Legends game competition in Korea (LCK) and successfully qualified for the quarter-finals of the League of Legends World Cup.(Suara.com/Tivan Rahmat)
