Changes to the MVP and medal system in Mobile Legends

Slight system changes will be made tomorrow (Tuesday, October 23, 2021) in the 1.3.22 update patch. The change is a system change in the selection of the MVP in the team. The system calculates further criteria in order to select who earns more MVP.

The criteria that are calculated to obtain MVP:

  • Damage (to enemy heroes)
  • Damage taken (damage received by the opponent)
  • Damage to the tower
  • KDA
  • Team fight
  • gold

As an an example.

In the old system, Aldous’ rank in the picture below is higher and he is the MVP, although he is less from a performance point of view (damage to heroes and guns etc). So in this mode it only seems to count KDA (number of kills, deaths and assists).

In the new update, the system calculates more criteria than previously mentioned. In this case, Claude deserves MVP.

Now Mimin Irumira is happier with this new system herself, yes, so those just doing their job are less likely to get MVP.

And for those of you who are wondering, how come I’m not an MVP even though I have a lot of kills and assists? Well, you have landed on the right webpage for the answer.

Another new feature in this update is that the winning team can receive more gold medals. If there are more silver or bronze medals, it was a long time ago.

Okay so that’s all of us on how to get a new MVP in ML, hopefully it’s useful.
